Crochet and Wedding bouquet

This is one of my new wedding bouquets.

And my granny's garden crochet blanket I'm making for me! Not the traditional granny square it has a flower in the middle.

Something new and exciting

I'm making these wonderful fabric, felt and button bouquets. I'm really loving these!

I have a load of scrap fabric bits I just couldn't part with, from my (having a lot more patience) quilting days. So these are all OOAK the range of colours is endless and the uses too.

These flower stems are un bound and bendable so they can be arranged in many ways, they are less time consuming than the handstitched felt and all button bouquets, so are cheaper too.

Saturday I went to a Stampin up party and had my first go at scrapbooking, we made a card and these cute little paper bags which can be used as invitations, or with a gift card inside. We learnt a few methods of gluing, cutting, etc my fav being the big shot die cutter.... would love to have one :)

Then Sunday I spent the morning at the Sugar and Spice childrens market in Woodend, where I got to meet a few of my cyber friends which is lots of fun. I met Melinda from Here we go loopy lou who is celebrating her shop 1 year Anniversary this week with a give away here Belinda from Moonmum Karen from MooBeetees and Blumin from Trentham. Ali did a great job organising the market and it was a great place to be....nice atmosphere, lots of great products.
