Crochet hearts for Valentines day

I like to crochet and I usually get the urge when it gets cold. I saw this cute little hearts tutorial on Meet Me at Mikes blog and thought I'd give them a go. They are a little wobbly, I have never done tripple treble before, and who knew?? I've been looping the wool the wrong way around the hook for 35 years.... I remember my Nan saying I did it weird when she taught me, now I know what she ment. They only take a few minutes to make, and have inspired me to get some books from the library on crochet to try out some more ideas.

Etsy shop on the go again!

I can't believe it took so long to sell this purple one it is one of my favourites, so much better in real life though, my photo's are still not so good. I'm glad to say I have had a few sales over the last few weeks. Since before Christmas it has been pretty slow, I didn't mind so much because I was busy making everyones Christmas presents anyway. Two bouquets sold so far this week one going to melbourne the other to the US. i still get a buzz when I sell to someone overseas... it seems unbelievable really!

Well 365 Days crafting??

I have been crafting every day still, but I have trouble (not technical) updating my blog.... I just can't find the time. I know my blog always suffers over the summer months, I spend so much of my time outside. So here is what I have been working on and actually took time to take a photo of. "Pearl" custom bunting, for an Etsy customer. New colours in button bouquets this mint one is all vintage buttons.A bright orange bouquet using only transparent buttons. More custom bunting for Etsy "Callum" in mint spots.And plenty of childrens crafty things, play dough with some repurposed potato people accessories is the favourite at the moment, plus painting, colouring and pasting.
