Crafting 365 days day 18
I cut lots of lavender today I am about half way through the bushes. Also collecting seeds. Then bunching the lavender and hanging them on the verandah to dry.
I tried teaching Wendy to crochet today, she mastered the chain but had trouble with the next step, we were trying for a granny square.

We all got one of these for Christmas, Santa thought it might be a fun activity to do together on the holidays. I'm doing mine in flower butterfly /theme with pictures of the girls in it.

I spent lots of time today organising the kids crafts, made new playdough pink and purple, the kids painted and pasted and made birthday cards. I cut out felt circles and hearts in between cleaning up playdough, paint, paste, and keeping up a continuos supply of crafting bits.

Painting today with the helpers, Penny 2yr on the left is totally tactile and hers all end up balls of paper handpainted, and with all the paints mixed together. Wendy 10yr is very fussy and could reject her project at any moment.

365 Days of crafting Day 14
Sewing buttons on felt hearts which are going on the front of felt lavender bags. I have so much lavender at the moment and am planning to use the harvest as part of my Autumn Harvest Basket entry in the Macedon and kyneton Autumn Flower shows.
We also went to spotlight and got some supplies.

Cutting and sewing a secret custom order today sorry no pics just in case. Will post some when sold.Cutting lots of lavender at the moment so some lavender in spired crafts coming soon.

Colouring Mandalas with the kids today, very hot here and not much sleep happening so trying to get some quiet time. Colouring detailed pictures helps they need to concentrate to keep in the lines. Next shopping trip we need to get some new textas, 2 yr olds flatten them in no time.

My daughter and I are working on this banner for her room, she tends to change her mind alot, as 10 year olds do, so this is made with paper and bits from my stash.
We still need to glitter the other letters, which is proving to be difficult with 3 extra helpers, I might get the fairies to do it tonight while the helpers are sleeping :)

Anyone for tea? handmade by me felt pretend play tea bags, a huge hit for play kitchens, I drink many of these each day.
Day 2 of 365
Today I made the rest of my felt food sandwich, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes and cucumber on white bread (which needs a little adjusting to get it better). My children christened them by having a picnic. Looks like I need to make some fried eggs too.
Crafting 365 Days- Day 1
Felt tomato slices for pretend play salad sandwhiches. I'm not sure I like the beaded one or the plainer one. I think the top 2 in the first photo are probably what I'll work on next time, but just cut the segments more evenly.
